Store Policies

All products are handmade in our shop, hand packaged and mailed by a single person. We cannot guarantee an exact replication of the listing photo but we will always strive to create beautiful high quality products. Please be patient and thoroughly read through our shipping and refund policies. 

Processing Time: 2-3 weeks All orders are hand made in the order they are received. Sometimes special materials are needed which may extend a normal processing window. We work hard to ship items sooner than this but we cannot always achieve that. 

High Demand (or viral items): A high demand, or viral item, is an item that is currently highly requested or has gone viral on a social media post. These items are pre-orders and must be paid for in advance before the item can be made and shipped out. The production time will be an additional 2-3 weeks to allow for stock of materials and creation. 
We cannot guarantee items during peak holiday season and rush delivery will not be available for high demand items. 
If a high demand item is purchased with a Ready to Ship/In Stock item then all of the order will ship together when the high demand item is complete. 

Shipping: Once your product leaves our shop, we can only offer you tracking updates as provided by the shipping servicer. Due to the increase in shipping, and with COVID, you may experience delays in your order during transit. Expedited shipping only applies to shipping times, not order processing. 

Damages and issues 

Please inspect your order upon receiving and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please allow us the time to take care of this error before posting negative reviews on social media platforms.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food), custom products (such as handmade or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We do not offer refunds for any products sold on Salty Mama Clothing Co. website as most items are handmade to order or are exclusively sent through vendors. We take pride in carefully selecting our items and stand behind our quality and inspections. We will offer Store Credit for unopened, undamaged items sent back within 14 days of receiving.
